Surround Technologies Releases Contact Management Version 2.0
'Plug and Play' design allows for easy addition to current systems

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – May 1, 2004 – Surround Technologies, LLC, a leading developer in Windows development for the iSeries 400, today announced the release of Contact Management version 2.0 with many new enhancements and a Zip/Postal Code Interface.  Among the list of new enhancements are a modified user interface with preview pane functionality, upgraded security options, a History explorer bar and a Contact Remarks module.

Contact Management offers a convenient solution to referencing and managing the contacts and their information used throughout your systems. It allows for the entry and management of many types of contact information as well as an unlimited number of configurable contact phone numbers, mailing addresses, email addresses, and web addresses.

With the included Zip/Postal Code Interface module, the system now includes a full Zip/Postal code database including City, State, and Country tables. With a number of interface points to simplify address entry, management and validation, the Zip/Postal Code Interface module is a great addition to the Contact Management system.

Contact Management was built using Surround's Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator (EVLA) product, and all the new enhancements were added to Contact Management in just hours by upgrading the base code to the newest release of EVLA version 5.5.  Not only can Contact Management be used with any existing system, but it can also be immediately integrated and used with any other system built using EVLA
