Quickly Develop Standard Windows and Web Systems

Surround Technologies has developed a full set of base components that form a customizable framework for any application. The framework contained within VL Accelrator allows developers to quickly generate shell systems with a standard Windows user interface that runs as a windows or web application, and it requires virtually no programming. Code generating Wizards can then be used to quickly develop components that can be specific to your business and easily plugged into the framework. Using this architecture, Surround Technologies has developed and deployed a full ERP/CRM package for the freight industry (FMS), an automated file transfer utility (UFTP), and several other utilities. Surround Technologies has also used this architecture to help many other companies develop large-scale VL applications for their businesses, such as the Store Management System for Thinplex, LLC and a Parish Information Management System for an Arch Diocese in Ohio. Our teams started developing Windows interfaces in 1997 and have been a part of the Visual LANSA Beta Program since it started in mid 1998. We worked closely with both LANSA and Aspect to understand and to shape the product.
