Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator (EVLA) to work with ChangeMaster®

BLOOMFIELD, NJ – July 26, 2004 – Surround Technologies LLC, a leader in Windows development for the iSeries, today confirmed that their EVLA product will be integrated with and work with Industrial Strength Software Company’s ChangeMaster change management and version control toolset. This integration will enable EVLA customers to easily develop, test and deploy EVLA applications to one or more “production” servers under the control of ChangeMaster.

Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator is a development system that is currently being used by over 50 developers in Fortune 500 and private companies worldwide to rapidly develop large-scale, powerful Windows applications. It is particularly appealing to the iSeries market because of its multi-database and multi-platform capabilities.

Clients using Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator with ChangeMaster will now be able to rapidly promote their EVLA Windows applications to a “test” server environment for Quality Assurance testing, and then promote the applications to one or more “production” servers for deployment to the end-users. ChangeMaster controls this process from the central iSeries server hub that houses the LANSA host repository.
