Surround Technologies Announces Re-Branding of Product Line
Introducing the Envision Product Suite
BLOOMFIELD, NJ – July 1, 2003 – Surround Technologies, LLC, a leader in trusted iSeries development tools, software applications and consulting services, announced that its entire product line will now be re-branded under the Envision name. Among the nine products being re-branded will be Surround's flagship Windows development tool, Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator, which was formerly marketed as Frameworks for Windows. Additionally, another popular product formerly marketed as Universal FTP Interface System (UFTP) will now be marketed as Envision Universal FTP.
Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator is a development system that is currently being used by Fortune 500 and private companies to quickly develop large-scale, powerful Windows applications. It is particularly appealing to the iSeries Market because of its multi-platform, multi-database connectivity and portability. Clients using Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator have quickly developed new and re-engineered existing enterprise-wide systems for warehouse management, sales force automation, accounting, and much more. Clients often comment that the Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator pays for itself in the first week of use and saves them hundreds of thousands of dollars in development time and user acceptance.
Envision Universal FTP is a product used by hundreds of companies as a tool to help automate and manage file transfers throughout their organizations and trading partners.
"Re-branding our products allows us to more clearly establish the relationship of each individual software offering within our product line," said Lee Paul, CEO and Partner of Surround Technologies, LLC. "For example, the Envision Contact Management product is based on the Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator Foundation, and that allows companies to easily integrate the system into any other Envision Visual LANSA Accelerator developed product.
"As a result of our interactions with clients over the past year, we learned that our customers often used a variety of our products and services on an individual basis, not recognizing the ability to have all these products work together. Or they were familiar with the individual product brands they had used, but they were typically unaware of Surround's breadth and depth of additional products available to meet their specialized needs. The Envision re-branding strategy will raise customer awareness of the wide range of resources we provide to help develop, guide, and ensure the success of people and organizations worldwide."
