Release packs Feature & Performance advances, supports LANSA V11 SP5, Themes
BLOOMFIELD, NJ – October 21, 2008 – Continuing a blistering release pace that fuels further Developer productivity, Surround Technologies today announced the immediate availability of Version 7.5 of its hallmark tool for the LANSA environment, Accelerator for Visual LANSA. The release is seen as extending Accelerator’s lead as the most productive tool for the environment.

Notable feature additions to Accelerator 7.5 for Visual LANSA include new Plug-In’s for Dashboards and Options, allowing easy development of flexible Business Monitoring controls to leverage your data’s inherent Business Intelligence. The release also offers Business Objects XML interfaces, simplifying integration with other applications and systems. Another feature is full support for all of LANSA’s Version 11 SP5 enhancements, including Themes.
Additional release inclusions are Report Generation output automatically to MS Word and MS Excel, support for Newlook software, and several performance, tuning and security refinements. LANSA Version 11 SP5 Support and Enhancements – Accelerator has been fully tested and certified to work with Visual LANSA Version 11, Service Pack 5. Important considerations for this LANSA release are OS/400 V6R1 support, Windows Vista Support, the long awaited Themes feature, and the introduction of new licensing and fees for the VL PRIM_ROM.
Options Plug-in – This new Plug-in makes the implementation of configurable options simple and fast providing a whole new level of dynamic agility in your software.
